Natural Healing Clay with technology is USP ingestible Kaolin. Kaolin is a phyllosilicate mineral species belonging to the clay family and is composed of aluminium silicate hydroxide: Al2Si2O5(OH)4. Phyllosilicate comes from the Greek pyros (fire) and phyllos (a leaf), given by R. Hermann in 1829. It is a layered silicate mineral. Rocks that are rich in kaolinite are known as china clay or kaolin. The name Kaolin is derived from Gaoling or Kao-Ling meaning ("High Hill") in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province of China. Our pure kaolin clay is mined in from one of the finest veins in the world.

Kaolin has a low shrink-swell capacity and a low cation exchange capacity[1]. It is a soft, white mineral produced by the natural chemical weathering[2] of aluminum silicate minerals like feldspar. It occurs in two more or less distinct varieties, namely, as crystalline folia and as compact masses. The folia have a pronounced pearly luster, owing to the presence of a perfect cleavage parallel to their surfaces: they are flexible but not elastic, and are usually arranged in fan-like or spherical groups.
|
|
[1] Cation exchange or ion exchange is an exchange of ions between two electrolytes or between an electrolyte solution and a complex. In most cases the term is used to denote the processes of purification, separation, and decontamination.
[2] Natural chemical weathering is the change or 'break down' in the composition of rocks. It is naturally caused by a combination of water and various chemicals that create an acid which directly breaks down the material. This type of weathering happens over a very long period of time.

The History of Natural Healing Clay.P
Natural Healing Clay may be a new concept to some, but the historical use of clays in general and for healing dates back thousands of years and is widely documented to have been used both internally and externally for prevention of illnesses, physical healing, sustain life and promote general health.
Ancient cultures and aboriginal tribes have used clay as a dietary staple, supplement and for healing purposes. The Essenes, who authored the Dead Sea Scrolls, used clay for the natural healing of a wide variety of illnesses and injuries and there are numerous Biblical references to the healing powers of clay.

Pedanius Dioscorides was a 1st century Greek physician considered the engineer of medicine for the Roman Empire. While traveling as a surgeon in the Roman army, he collected information on the remedies of the period and wrote a work on materia medica that remained the standard for centuries. He attributed “God-like Intelligence” to the properties exhibited by clay used for therapeutic purposes.

The many benefits of clay were recognized by the natives of Mexico and South America and civilizations that preceded the Aztecs. Native American Indians are have used healing clay for hundreds of years as food, for body purification, healing, in ceremonial events and for trading with other tribes. In fact, at one time, clays of various types were considered to be more valuable than gold to them. They have also long revered clay for its high pristine energy and spiritual significance.

Early French cultures used clay for nutrition and medicinal purposes and also as a trading medium. They touted the clay’s healing effect on gum diseases, ulcers, rashes, dysentery, hemorrhoids, infected wounds and bites.
The 19th century German naturopath, Sebastian Kneipp, and fellow naturalist Adolph Just, accorded clay therapy a prominent position in their arsenal of holistic medicine due to the tremendous results they achieved using it.

Early in the 20th century, Dr. Julius Stumpf was a renowned German physician, scientist and a medical contemporary of Wilhelm Roentgen at Würzburg University. Stumpf successfully used kaolinite clay therapy to treat the always fatal Asiatic cholera. He was also the first in Germany to heal ulcers of the tibia and to expunge the fetid smell of infected suppurating wounds, gangrene, diphtheria and the skin disease eczema. All these successes were widely reported in very prominent German medical weekly papers. A contemporary of Stumpf’s, Dr. Meyer Camberg, used clay to neutralize arsenic poisoning.
|
During the 1st World War, German physicians offered clay therapy as a solution to the food poisoning, dysentery, diarrhea, and wound infection that was rampant among troops on both sides. Additionally, Russian soldiers received 200 grams of clay along with their rations and it was added to mustard in several French regiments, who remained free of the dysentery which ravaged nearby regiments.

Today, alternative and mainstream health professionals (where alternative medicine is included as a part of their practice) are increasingly recommending clay to their patients for detoxification and to address other illnesses and injuries. With the addition of technology, you now have a real one-two punch at your disposal.

Because of its exceptional amount of surface area, these clay particles tend to attract and hold toxic compounds, thereby increasing detoxification. Energized Natural Healing Clay with may enhance the quality of water by removing toxins, chemicals, funguses, viruses and bacteria, giving it possibly greater antioxidant property as well. Kaolinite possesses a highly desirable weak ‘van der Waals’[1] force allowing it to disperse easily in water.
Natural Healing Clay with possesses both sponge-like and magnetic adsorbing properties giving it exceptionally high detoxifying properties. Taken internally, this dispersing property allows for greater surface exposure in the intestines, and therefore may cause more toxins to be contacted and absorbed.

As our bodies cannot tolerate the ingestion of large amounts of sodium, the amount of sodium-based clay that can be consumed in a day is restricted to small dosages. There are no such consumption requirements or restrictions placed on Kaolinite. This clay is referred to as “living clay” as it consists of a mineral that contributes to the production of enzymes in all living organisms. Natural Healing Clay with is a clay for use or ingestion by humans, animals, and plants and for incorporating into soil.
[1] In physical chemistry, the van der Waals force (or van der Waals interaction), named after Dutch scientist Johannes Diderik van der Waals, is the attractive or repulsive force between molecules (or between parts of the same molecule) other than those due to covalent bonds or to the electrostatic interaction of ions with one another or with neutral molecules. Van der Waals forces include attractions between atoms, molecules, and surfaces. They differ from covalent and ionic bonding in that they are caused by correlations in the fluctuating polarizations of nearby particles (a consequence of quantum dynamics).

Clay and Pharmaceutical Drugs
Due to the powerful drawing action of Natural Healing Clay, it is best not taken internally within 3 hours before or after drug intake if those drugs are required for hormonal or physiological support. It is better to not take the clay at all internally if you are on other medications such as antidepressants or other drugs that require residual amounts in your system to be effective. The clay will tend to absorb the residual amounts of the drug in your system and could result in withdrawal reactions from the drugs.
If you have safely come off of a drug, clay baths and internal consumption will help to clean up your system of the drug residuals. For more specific information consult a qualified health professional. |
*Always consult your health care practitioner before using this or any other natural or nutritional supplement. |
Current Science Behind the Use of Pyrophyllite Clay
The current science behind the worldwide use of pyrophyllite clay is centered primarily on its use in the agricultural industry. However, as you have discovered here, there is an emerging science developing around its benefits in the health and wellness, anti-aging and cosmetics industries.
With respect to our Natural Healing Clay, while much of what is known regarding benefits to the human body are being drawn from personal experiences, the conclusions being drawn from the known science on pyrophyllite in the agricultural arena is fairly extensive, with support from various emerging scientific research fields.
Clay has been used agriculturally for centuries. The rich silica content of clay produces an abundant amount of mono & orthosilicic acids when combined with water. Silicic acids have been found to improve mineral uptake playing a critical role in mineral bio-availability. This is true for plants, animals and humans alike. Natural Healing Clay with added to the water for your house-plants acts as a natural pesticide and may produce a significant increase in the health, size and fruition of a variety plants and trees. For house-plants; add 1 Tsp. to one gallon of water. Water your tree or plant at the base in the soil. Water your tree or plant at the recommended normal rate of watering. Do Not Over Water! a

How Does it Work Agriculturally?
Natural Healing Clay with may represent a unique form of pest control as it forms a non-toxic particle film that places a barrier between the pest and its host plant. Natural Healing Clay is an edible mineral (kaolin) and studies indicate that there appears to be no toxicity to humans or any danger to mammals or the environment posed by its use and may prove itself as an effective “Reduced Risk Biopesticide.”
, Victor Roehrich
| Natural Healing Clay can be generally sprayed on crops in liquid form. The water evaporates leaving a very thin protective powdery film of on the surfaces of leaves, stems, and fruit. Conventional spray equipment can be used. The film may work to deter insects in several ways; tiny particles of the clay attach to the insects when they contact the tree, agitating and repelling them; even if particles don’t attach to their bodies, the insects can find the coated plant or fruit unsuitable for feeding and egg-laying. Moreover, the highly reflective coating can make the tree less recognizable as a host. |

|
aaa
At first glance, the film might seem as thought it would block sun light. However, Natural Healing Clay with may actually increase net photosynthesis, reduce heat stress and fruit drop and may provide additional benefits to the overall health of trees and shrubs as well. Growers in hot areas may also benefit from a marked reduction in sunburn damage. Although this residue is not harmful, it might be considered unsightly. However, the dust residue is not a problem and is easily washed off before consumption.
For the organic grower looking to achieve an economic level of pest control, in USDA trials of Kaolin, “suppression” was very close to “control” and was far closer than any other organically suitable option.
In the table below you will find an incomplete list of various insects and pest that were repelled or suppressed with the use of kaolin, trees and fruits, vegetables, berries and miscellaneous crops that have been successfully studied.
